Coming soon on Heavy Metal Wanaka!

Before the end of May 2017, I will be posting my 100% Kiwi Metal show, (as is customary for NZ Music month ;p) which will feature an interview with Riccardo Ball, the front man for Auckland Thrash Metal band Just One Fix !! AND IF that wasn't enough, I will also be debuting the brand new logo for the show (teaser below)

So that's:

* I do not own the photographs shown, Google search helped me locate these.  Fashion faux-pas are hardly an issue the realm of Heavy Metal or Comedy, for that matter, but a recent trend of celebrities wearing Heavy Metal Band branded clothing has overshadowed what seems to be a push back trend, that no one seems to be talking about: Heavy Metal celebrities wearing normal clothing. The ultra-funny comedian, writer, tv series creator Ricky Gervais, has a real life image much sharper than his break through on-screen persona, David Brent. Similarly, James Hetfield, enigmatic front man of global Heavy Metal icons and super-legends, Metallica, has ever been at the fore of alternative culture, displaying his various facial hair or mullet features proudly over the years.
