Heavy Metal Wanaka

Welcome to the Heavy Metal Wanaka Throwback Podcast. This time I feature my 2015 interview with Burton C Bell from Fear Factory, talking all about the bands album 'Genexus' and the concepts behind it- the future of humanity and technology, the theorized singularity event etc etc. Genexus is the bands third album since coming back after a second hiatus after 2005's 'Transgression' and reconciling with guitarist and co-founder Dino Cazares. Please follow me on all of these:-

Welcome to the Heavy Metal Wanaka podcast for another Throwback interview- this time with Andy Sneap, talking about their 2013 release The Age of Nefarious. Andy Sneap is best known for his work on the other side of the recording desk working with a long list of big names in metal, from Accept, Exodus, Carcass, Fear Factory and heaps more. He was instrumental in the reunion of British band, Hell, in 2008 with the band signing to Nuclear Blast Records for their albums post-reunion.   Please follow me on all of these:-

Welcome to the HEAVY METAL WANAKA THROWBACK PODCAST.  In this episode, I feature an old interview with Brendon Small, recorded in about 2010, around the time of the release of the third season of Metalocalypse on Blu-ray / DVD.  You'll see during the interview that even in 2010 there was a final story arch, at least considered, to wrap up the show. In 2015, however, Adult Swim had made the decision not to continue with a final, wrap up, season.   Please follow me on all of these:-

NOTE: His name is 'OLOF', I made a spelling error and will be sorting out the youtube video of it when I can.   Welcome to the HEAVY METAL WANAKA PODCAST: THROWBACK. In this episode I have a 2015 interview with  ENFORCER'S  Olaf Wikstrand: founder & vocalist. The Swedish Heavy Metal Band (so might say NWOBHM revivalists)  were preparing for or had just From Beyond" released their studio album " How ever you describe their sound, their Heavy Metal Attitude is not in dispute- lyrics revolving around horror, their guitar work seeks to break sound barriers and the vocals would leave the uninitiated worse-for-wear if they tried to imitate. The interview has, as per usual, been put through a small amount of AUDIO CLEAN UP to try and IMPROVE the listening EXPERIENCE.     Follow me on all of these:-
